Let's Touch the Sky

Standing on the fourth tallest telecommunication tower in the world, I saw almost all KL with 360 degrees. For me, its a very best location to view the world's tallest building - The Petronas Twin Tower.

Menara Kuala Lumpur, was opened to public on 23rd July 1996; almost 11 years back. With 4 lifts that moving at 22 km per hour, we reached at the Observation Deck, 276 m above the ground level only in 58 seconds.

With the total tower weight around 100,000 tones, it tooks nearly 5 years for the construction to be completed. Officially launched on 1st October 1996 by former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Y.A. Bhg Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Menara KL has the height of 421 metres above the sky and was build to improve the quality of telecommunication and broadcasting transmission.

It was a happy day... very exciting cause my parents were joining us together..

The kids? Of course... they enjoyed every moment... even though tired... (kids are always kids).
